The Best Time to Visit Huis Ten Bosch

Huis Ten Bosch hosts several events throughout the year. Below, we introduce the main events for each season. Please feel free to refer to this list to help you decide the best time to visit. 

Spring (March - May)
Spring at Huis Ten Bosch is all about its beautiful flowers. The Tulip Festival, featuring an abundance of blooming tulips, is held from February to April, while the Rose Festival takes place around April to May.


Summer (June - August)
June - August is the best time to enjoy seasonal flowers like sunflowers and water play in the water garden at Huis Ten Bosch.


Autumn (September - October)
In September and October, Huis Ten Bosch features Halloween and autumn food events. You can also enjoy autumn roses.


Winter (November - February)
In winter, experience dazzling Christmas events adorned with colorful illuminations, Western Japan's largest fireworks display ‘Kyushu Ichidai Hanabi,’ as well as New Year’s Eve countdown fireworks and New Year fireworks!

Cheese Waag is located in Attraction Town. The first floor has a food corner serving curry, pasta, and sandwiches, while the second floor features a restaurant offering famous Dutch cheese dishes. The cheese fondue is especially popular, letting you enjoy the authentic taste of the Netherlands.

Pinoccio
This Italian restaurant has had long-standing popularity since Huis Ten Bosch opened. Their pizza, baked quickly at a high temperature, is crispy on the outside, bringing out the delicious flavor of the dough. Sharing pasta and pizza with the whole family is also recommended.
