Day 1: Nagasaki City
Nagasaki City, the heart of Nagasaki Prefecture, is the first place food lovers should visit.
Nagasaki Champon is especially popular in Nagasaki. It originated in the city and is now enjoyed across the country. This noodle dish is known for its rich broth and generous toppings, and Shikairo, the restaurant where it was first invented, continues to be in business in Nagasaki today.
For dessert, we recommend a milkshake, Nagasaki’s hidden local specialty. This frozen dessert, made with milk, eggs, and ice, is said to have first been created at "Tsuruchan ", a traditional coffee shop in Kyushu.
Shooken is famous for its Castella cake and boasts a history of over 340 years. At Café Sevilla, located on the second floor of the main store, they serve milkshake made with the same carefully selected eggs and sugar used in their Castella. Each one is handmade to order. Please enjoy this treat in a stylish atmosphere filled with exotic charm.
Café Sevilla:
・Address: 2F, 3-19 Uonomachi, Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture

Day 3: Shimabara Peninsula
The Shimabara Peninsula, located in eastern Nagasaki Prefecture, is a region with thriving agriculture and is a hidden trove of cuisine. Shimabara hand-stretched somen noodles and Guzoni are especially popular.
Shimabara hand-stretched somen noodles have a traditional flavor, boasting 400 years of history. Made with high-quality wheat flour, it is known for its firm and springy texture. Yu-kyo, located in Minamishimabara, is a particularly well-known and long-established restaurant serving this dish.
Guzoni is a local dish considered to have been created by Amakusa Shiro, the leader of the local residents’ uprising (The Shimabara Rebellion) in 1637. This nutrient-rich dish contains many ingredients such as mochi (glutinous rice cakes), chicken, burdock, and lotus root.
