The Yabusame Horseback Archery Performance and Experience will be held in Nagasaki. Anyone can join in this event. The Yabusame is performed as a part of the Nagasaki Kunchi Festival, which was first launched in 1634. This event includes the rehearsal performances by the odori-cho (or “performing towns”) of this year’s Kunchi Festival. You can experience the Nagasaki Kunchi Festival, known as one of the three major Kunchi Festivals in Japan, in a special way.

　10:00 AM: Opening (Shinto ritual, Yabusame performance)
    11:00 AM: Enokizu-machi’s Kawafune performance
    12:00 PM: Nigiwai-machi’s Tairyo-maiiwai Ebisubune performance
    1:00 PM: Shindaiku-machi’s Shibu and Hikidanjiri performance
    3:00 PM: Nishifurukawa-machi’s Yagura-daiko and Hon-odori performance
(2) Yabusame Experience
    12:00 PM: Yabusame performance
    1:00 PM: Reception opens for Yabusame Experience (Children will be given priority to participate)
