One-Day/24-hours Pass for Nagasaki Bus, Nagasaki city
This pass can be used for one day of unlimited bus rides within the designated area of Nagasaki City and there are 2ways (mobile/paper) to purchase the pass.
1.One-day/24-hour Pass (Mobile)
You can confirm purchase proceedings via mobile application and select the length of validity from 1day or 24hour.
2.One-day Pass (Paper)
Paper passes can be purchased at Nagasaki Shichi Bus Terminal, Cocowalk Service Center, Nagasaki City General Tourist Information Center (inside Nagasaki Station)and each Nagasaki Bus business office.
*When you purchase a-day use ticket, you can only use it during the date. Whereus, for 24-hour use, you can use the ticket even crossing over the days when its within 24 hours.
Shimabara Peninsula
Shimatetsu Free Pass
"Shimatetsu Free Pass" is a very economical ticket that allows unlimited rides on Shimabara Railway trains, buses, and ferries.
This pass is available year-round and 2types of validity length (one-day use / 2-day use) are available. You can purchase this ticket at Shimabara Railway stations and bus/ferry offices.
The Shimabara Megurin Ticket gives you access to two of the city’s must-see attractions — Shimabara Castle and the Shimeiso Spring Garden — plus a variety of special offers including discounts at participating shops, free gift and so on. (Valid for one day of purchase)
Northern Nagasaki Prefecture
Saihi Bus One-Day Pass
The Saihi Bus One-Day Pass allows unlimited travel on regular local buses (excluding Fukuoka/Nagasaki express buses and the Ono Mame bus) for one day; these buses take you around the center of Sasebo where the Kujukushima Cruising Boat Pearl Queen and Huis Ten Bosch are located. Two types of pass can be purchased.
1.Weekday Free Pass
Available only as a digital pass (available for purchase only via a smartphone app; Japanese language only)
* The Weekday Free Pass can be used from 10:00 AM until the final bus service on the day of purchase.
2.Weekend/National Holiday Pass
Available both as a digital pass and as a paper pass. Paper passes can be purchased at the Sasebo Bus Center and at the Sasebo Tourist Information Center inside JR Sasebo Station.
One-day Pass For Matsuura Railway, Sasebo/Hirado/Matsuura/Saza
One-day tickets are prepared for passengers on Matsuura Railway. Matsuura railway runs around northern area of Nagasaki prefecture (Sasebo/Saza/Hirado/Matsuura) and some area (Imari/arita) in Saga prefecture. Both mobile and paper pass are available as below.
1.One-day Pass (Mobile)
Via mobile application, you can confirm purchase proceedings quickly in advance of your trip.
2.One-day Pass (Paper)
Paper passes can be bought at both on the train and 7 manned stations along the rail line.
Throughout Kyushu Region
JR Kyushu Rail Pass
This pass is ideal for travelling throughout Kyushu as there are pass types available that offer access to Northern Kyushu (Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Oita and Kumamoto), Southern Kyushu (Oita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki and Kagoshima), or Kyushu in its entirety. This pass also gives users the ability to freely select seats on local trains, limited express trains, and Shinkansen (bullet trains).
Notice; When you get on the train, be sure to show your passport to prove that you are an international visitor. The passport must have visa stamp or seal for a temporary visitor.
SUNQ PASS
SUNQ PASS is a free pass ticket that allows unlimited rides on almost all Expressway Bus and local buses in the seven prefectures in Kyushu and the Shimonoseki, Nagato area (Yamaguchi), as well as on some ferries. There are 5types of the ticket depending on the area and validity period.

Japan Rail Pass
The Japan Rail Pass (also known as JR Pass) is a multi-use ticket that allows you to efficiently travel throughout Japan (includng Tokyo, Osaka and Hiroshima). It is valid for journeys on all major JR national trains including Shinkansen bullet trains. Passengers can select a pass which is valid for 7, 14 or 21 days and there is the option of Standard Pass or a Green Pass (first class).
