Takaitabi Church

The people here have roots in the community of Sotome, who moved here to continue following their faith. In 1939, it's said that over 100 people returned to Christianity here through group baptism. In 1961, the church was constructed. It stands above one of Kamigoto's many beautiful beaches, Takaitabi Beach, and features an eye-catching bright red roof atop its white walls.
