Nestled halfway up Mount Gokaharadake at an elevation of 1,057 meters, the expansive Shirakimine Highlands stretch across 10,000 square meters of natural beauty. Each spring, around 100,000 bright yellow rapeseed blossoms (nanohana) paint the landscape, while autumn brings a breathtaking display of approximately 200,000 cosmos flowers swaying gently in the breeze.

Known for its stunning seasonal scenery and peaceful atmosphere, Shirakimine draws hikers, photographers and nature lovers from across Isahaya and beyond year round.
